Musk ox wool
Musk ox wool is measured to be eight times warmer than lamb wool, making it one of the warmest natural fibres in the world.
It’s light-weight and soft. It rarely triggers the same allergies as other types of wool do. 

Besides its unique warming qualities, it’s especially loved for its ability to relieve pain. Patients suffering from chronic pain diseases, such as arthritis, experience that it can help them.
Especially sleeping with musk ox wool on the affected body part can help. 

All our wool comes from musk oxen that live wild in the area of Kangerlussuaq. 

Products knitted from musk ox wool stretch quite a lot in use. We try to take measure of this in our production by letting the product sit tight to begin with. So don’t despair if you receive a narrow-looking product. It will stretch in use, and if we didn’t do it this way it’d get too big quickly. 

Many of our products are available in a variety of colors.
When we dye, we do it without the use of any harsh chemicals. You will probably also notice that none of our colors are lighter than our brown (natural) starting point. This is because we can’t under-dye without harsh chemicals.
We are fond of the thought of the fact that we can go through our whole production-line from wild animal on the mountain to finished product in the store without harming chemistry.
