About Qiviut ApS - Qiviut - Musk ox wool and sealskin

We are a production company with our own store and production in Nuuk, dealers in Ilulissat and Sisimiut, as well as this webshop.

In 2008, the store opened in Sisimiut. Five years later, the store in Nuuk followed.
In 2022, the entire production moved to Nuuk and at the same time closed down in Sisimiut.

The woman behind the company is Anita Høegh. For more than 20 years, Anita has been one of the world’s leading producers of wool from musk oxen. Qiviut has grown with the entry of the daughter, Mia Chemnitz, and her focus on sealskin clothing.

The concept is yarn and products that come from the Greenlandic nature. We therefore place great emphasis on material selection and personal knowledge of suppliers. Qiviut ApS only produces and sells goods made from nature’s own raw materials and in line with the Inuit tradition of using the whole game.
